This just shows how creative one can be when painting furniture. This piece was transformed using Antique Lace, Tranquil Sea, Cathedral and Cloudy Skies. Followed with Sheer Liquid Wax for protection. Artist: Susan @ Precious Pick'ens
This Potting Bench is used in Two Dogs and A Paintbrush's booth as a display. Layered with Bridgewater Blue and Saltwash (a paint additive), Cathedral and Fresh Cream. Prior to putting the Fresh Cream on I randomly put Terra Bella's Crackle on it. Between the Saltwash and the crackle, it gives the bench a weathered look. One day, it will be used as a real potting bench. Can't wait.
As a retailer, sometimes it is hard to order what our clients will buy and want. However, not sure why I ordered so much Aquamarine. No fear, I decided to add some Raven to my extra Aquamarine for this stunning new color. The base and chairs where painted with this mix, distressed, topped with 1 coat of Sheer Liquid Wax, followed by a mix of Ebony Tinted Liquid Wax mixed w/ Sheer Liquid (4 parts sheer to 1 part Ebony making a Black Glaze). Adding this glaze gives the furniture more depth and mutes the blue a tad. The top was painted by my friend, Jessica - this is her amazing signature style for table tops. She used the Weathered Gray Stain, Gray Mist, Cathedral.
Painted by Two Dogs and A Paintbrush (with help of Jessica Kline)
