These detailed tables were painted in our Oyster Gray Acrylic-Chalk Paint. Wet distressed to bring out the details. A light coating of sheer and ebony liquid wax was applied for an antiqued look. The tops were sanded down (they were a mess), then I applied our Espresso Gel Stain over them. Once dried, I took #220 sand paper to pull back so of the gel stain to give it a more rustic look. I just love painting detailed pieces like this. Painting them really helps the details pop. Artist: Susan @ Two Dogs and A Paintbrush
Antique Vanity refinished in Terra Bella’s gray mist and ebony wax. Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful details on this vanity from the carved details on the mirror and drawers to the beautiful chunky turned legs. The ebony wax highlights those details even more. New glass was added to the mirror (all 3 panels). New crackled glass knobs and coordinating paper added to the drawers. Finished with light distressing, 400 grit sanding, and sheer wax for a baby smooth protected finish. Artist: CLM Designs
Painted with Deep Ocean. Protected with a Mix of Sheer and Ebony Liquid Wax. Mixing the waxes is a great way to add depth with less coats. Always apply very thin coats of Waxes and no more than 2 coats in 24 hours.
From our Retailers: CLM Designs. This was painted with Gray Mist and protected with Sheer & Ebony Liquid Wax.
From The Robins Nest Warner Robins in Georgia: Before we had our Gel Stains, our go to top for covering damaged, stained tops was a combo of: Ebony and Cocoa Liquid Wax and Rubbed Bronze Shimmer. Add a little Mocha or Raven Acrylic-Paint for even more coverage.
